-Ray was a chemical engineer, and he worked for a string factory from 2000. His job is analysis of composition of those well known and expensive brands in the worldwide. In 2008 he set up his own string company. Ray paid more attention on raw material choosing. He think good materials produce good sound "Melody" strings use high standard PA66 Perlon, which has much better performance than PA. And the E string is made of Germany steel which is considered as the best steel source. The composition is also strictly controlled. On G string, the content of chromium element in silver wound has lowered in result of deeper tone. On A string, the increased content of magnesium element in Aluminum result in brighter tone. And the amount of strand of perlon core is also tested many times to decide.
-Every one knows silver will oxidized to be black color and aluminum are easy to get corrosion that occurs from salt and oils from the players hand. All these will short your strings using life. While "melody" strings have anti-corrosion treatment and can solve this problem.
